Why would you do that? The engine sound editor is free for all, not bound to S2-licenses. Only for seconding a request for a diesel engine sound?
Okay, diesels are crap and sound horrible, but even I think banning is a bit harsh for wanting a diesel sound

it´s just becuse i think the 1,9 tdi is a great engine, have a golf gti tdi 4motion, very fun car, i may be crazy but i like the tdi sound and i couldn´t make it my self

Congrats, you got one of the cars I'd immediatly sell if I would have won them without driving one bit with it
To stay a little on-topic: Maybe DaveWS can help you out with the sound. Unfortunatly I'm not very talented. Another problem will be, that diesel engines will not rev that high like LFS' cars do, so it surely would sound quite off

i hope somone is kind enough to make the sound for me, it fould be fun with a diesel xrt, haha :P

I think what u want is more possible in rFactor "enviroment" than here in LFS
There are numerous mods/cars to rFactor so you may want to try that,
if u want things like that ( Just my opinion )

LFS seems to be more "Serious" (LOL) and Competition/FAST oriented
simulator. =_0

TDi Golfs are great, I mean they have torque like hell
I wished my SDi had a turbo bolted on...

shame they drive like crap and have poor steering feel -_-
