What kind of system do you have?
Is any part of your system Overclocked?
Wich version of LFS is you running??

(and btw, think this belongs to the "technical assistance" section)

I used to have this, and my system is only a year old. Might be even a dodgy OS install. Another prob i have, is sometimes when i click "Leave" on a online race, it quits LFS - Any ideas?
Run a memtest on your PC. See what its gives out. If possible try the same LFS files on another PC. If it still does it, then retry downloading and installing. Something could just simply be corrupt.

I had this when my Gfx card started to give up on me. Some games worked fine and some ran for a short time or not at all before the computer rebooted. After a while though, it was impossible to start anything gfx heavy.
Got a little bit more info still not sorted my problem

this is the error after taking off "automatic restart" in sytem/advanced tab
"BAD_POOL_CALLER" anyone know of a way of sorting this or what it is?

also got a code "0x0000002" just update going to format tomorrow if nothing comes up
afternoon

still not sorted this shit out yet booted in safe mode and i tryed the game in safe mode but the error is as follows

Quote : Create hw 3d device failed

just reinstalled my audigy card and still not sorted it also loaded omega ati drivers the other night but nothing

please i dont really want to format but looks like it will be the case tonight
I'm not sure if not being able to play a game in Safe Mode means anything. AFAIK, safe mode just uses your video card's BIOS, never even fires up the GPU. That would explain the error you got. It sounds like a bad Power Supply or RAM. Did you build the computer yourself, or did you add parts to a store bought one? Did you add more RAM, is it name brand or no name? Does your power supply actually have enough power for all your components. To me this says "hardware problem," I doubt a reformat would actually even help. We can work this out, if all else fails, there's the old sledgehammer
so if what your saying is right all my other games should also stop working like hl2 cs:source live for speed richard burns rally , but they work fine.

power suply is 450 watt built the computer myself and it aint been changed for ages.
Ah, I didn't realize that you had other games that work fine. I really don't know what to suggest now...
