Slight problem in so much as a pitstop done at the start is given the ok by the F12 display, but isnt seen as valid by LFS. Basically I pitted right at the start in a league race at fern bay, to try and avoid the pile ups at turn 1, got to lap 32 of 33 in the lead and I got a 30 second time penalty.

My problem is that a pitstop cannot by valid if you will be punished for it, so why did my F12 display tell me all was ok? I had plently of time to pit again during the race.

Just to add to what quicksilver said, he pitted from off the starting grid before crossing the start line to start lap 1. so technically was on lap 0/hadnt started the race yet F12 said he had completed the pitstop.
