Three GTRs is enough for me, especially given that only one of them ever gets used. -1 and -1.

If we're having another AWD race car I'd rather have the DP1. At least it's something different.

I also thought of names: RB4 GTR = RBR, RAC GTR = RAR, LX8 GTR = LXR

Although i love the sound of an LX8, LX6 with Downforce!

Personally I think it looks like it's got a snowplough. It would be better if it actually followed the curve of the car itself. The rear spoiler also looks a bit barry, but it's hard to comment properly when it doesn't have a roof.

But yes, more cars is always good. And the less effort has to go into making them (upgrading an existing one rather than creating one from scratch) then the faster they can get put in. LX8/LXR, I'm all for it.

But let's balance the ones we have first, eh?

RB4 looks great, but I don't like the RAC+1 for RB4 and -1 for RAC

I'd way rather have race versions of those cars (RAC, RB4, LX) withOUT the wings. Racing with slicks and no downforce is way more fun to me

And right now all we have is the FWD racers like that.

Its much more appealing to me if its added as a more grassroots/amatuer class.

This could also help sort out GTR class balancing. It would be

GTR1 - RAR, FZR, LXR
GTR2 - FXR, XRR, RBR

The LXR should have an F1 car style front wing, and a rear wing like the XRR. Like the Donkeyvoort (SP).

Guess it's time to post this again then: Best RAC GTR ever made.

If we should ever get a 4th GTR I would prefer a GTR version of the Raceabout, as we have no mid-engined GTR.

And then there's still the option of getting a WRC-like version of the RB4 along with the Rallye-Pack, of course (which I don't believe will come before S3, if ever. But you never know ).

I spent some time with photoshop and here is it, i think it should look just like this, the Raceabout GTR

I somehow doubt many sanctioning bodies would be okay with a 180mph open-roof car competing in their race series.

The hardtop version that Linsen linked is hot though. I'd like to see that running around with the other GTRs (maybe in a lower class, similar to how the Lotus GTR is in a different class than the Porsches and Ferraris).

LMPs are open roofed (and will be until very soon) and FIA GT and LM GT cars can be open roofed, but none are.

It WILL need a rollcage.

dunno cueball, look at that spyker C8 racecar they showed off just recently, it had no roof!

they had a hardtop conversion, but it was still open

dukey (gonna call you that from now on lol), thats different though, LMPs are made to be open like that, cars like this.. are not
