Ok, so my birthday a week ago and my friend got me a 17" dell flat panel. well, it's at his house but he told me that he got it for me. I currently have a viewsonic 19" crt. What could i use this extra monitor for because i couldnt do a dual monitor setup for racing due to the size difference? I have an ATI x800 pro that supports dual monitors at different res and refresh and wanted some ideas. ALSO, i'm not simply talking about LFS but everything else as well

ps-does it make me look like a noob with only 80 posts? I've been here for a while (aug 2004 ) and always wondered that.

i use a 17 and 19 inch TFT, 19 inch for games, 17 for MSN, notes, music players, teamspeak etc

I was running a 17" with my first 22", it a) works fine for gaming, although looks weird and b) as Jakq mentions it's great for working. I have three 22" monitors running now and can't live without the acres of virtal deskspace. It's just so handy.
