What is the Base setup project
The idea behind this is that it should be possible to make a good, fast general purpose setup for a car by making it an average of a selection of good, fast setups that cover the available tracks in LFS. The aim is to produce a base setup for each car in LFS.

Who can take part
At the moment I am ONLY interested in setup files from people that hold top 30 world records OR from organised teams that take part in a league. NOBODY ELSE! Please don't fill this thread with spam. If you do not fit the criteria DO NOT POST!

What sort of setup are required
I am ONLY interested in RACE setup files. No drift or rally setups. The track/car does not matter.

How to post
Please zip/rar you setups you wish to submit and post them in this thread. Please include you team name or details of the WR you currently hold. DO NOT post general chat in this thread.

What will be produced
When I have enough sets I will create one setup per car based on the setups I have available to me.

I have had a few WR's. Dont waste my time anymore doing them.

But the thing is that WR setups are not general purpose race setups, well not for all cars. For example i have some very fast road car setups that could do WR and also manage your 45min - hour league race at front runner pace or whatever. Some others like the race cars this is not the case, you normally need 2 setups, one qually and one race.

I will have a look and put some together and submit them for you here.

FO8 @ WE1R: Used for both the WR and a 32-lap race. The tires went the distance.

some sets that i quite like and made using inferno but quite a lot of modding the XFG set is my old set from demo days, can do low 33's in good hands.
