LeMans League Round 5 May 26th, 2007
A suggestion:

Make this the last round, since the participants don't exactly grow.

I suggest we run the Grand Finale at Kyoto GP instead of Aston National. This race at Kyoto is very challenging and announced as a really long endurance race. The racetime is going to be a bit over 2h. Filtering the men from the boys ... .. What a way to end this season!!

Suggestion

Server: The LFS LeMans League
Track: Kyoto GP, 60 laps
Date: May 26th, 2007
Time schedule:
Warmup: 18.00 UTC or 20.00 CEST (Central European Summer Time)
Qualify: 18.30 UTC or 20.30 CEST
Race start: 19.00 UTC or 21.00 CEST

Hmm surely ASNat can do that? Why change the combo when its been set for months...

Was a thought from me. Kyoto GP is the real champ track, so challenging and a perfect track to end this league with.
Aston National is soooo ... common and not at all that challenging ...
I dont know if I would be able to race in this race due to university work due in before and just after the race date so possibly compromising my times but im enjoying the fox at the minute so i don't mind what track. Looking at the track though ky gp is probably best due to the lack of such a big flat out section where the big gtrs will just pull away.
I know the groups are seperate so doesn't really matter but proved some good racing the fox against the gtr's round fe

Edit: Please change, james only wants as nat as hes racing fzr and hes good round there, so i vote to change
Put me down for FOX.
Sounds good to me, whatever track we end up doing. Put me down in the Fox and I'll get my 50 laps done. Hopefully I'll last longer than 13 laps this time. You say this will be the last race, will there be another season?

Both tracks are fine here...with XFR of course =)

Keep the discussion alive about what track you think will be the best to end the season with please.
The decision about it will be made and announced next week.

When it comes to signing up procedure we'll change it a bit. Two weeks before the event we'lll open up the registrations and announce it clear to everyone.

You little .... Hmmm now where is the kick greboth out of DR command

Back to the topic, when a scedule is set then it should be stuck to. Should have been thought out better at the start then changing almost at the last moment tbh
You and your teammate LFSn00b took two spots in last race and you didnt even care to notify you were not racing, so why do you care about schedule if youre not showing up?

I'm sorry, I was still at work with a big problem... Also I had not had the time to complete the 50laps. Should have said I was not going to be there, but work got in the way and so I forgot

I dont know what happened with Niko however.
So... what is happening? If its going to be changed then it needs to be done as early as possible so that people know what they are doing.
I am abit slow at the moment but why dont we just keep it as it is, we will get more people joining I think with ASNat. Then leave the last round KY GP as it is.

-May 26th, 2007 - Aston National, 60 laps.

-June 23rd, 2007 - Kyoto Grand Prix, 60 laps.
I made KY Grand Prix as the final test of the racers-60 laps and I think everyone will slumped over their wheels.

Can everyone handle it?
Sounds fine to me If the dates are as James put them i will not be able to race ky but i am still trying to make as nat

Yeah we can handle it! Just after some warming up at ASNAT a month before
I know it's hard but try to read the first post in the thread.

My suggestion is to skip the last event in June since not many race in the summer time. But I want to follow Jayhawks intention and run a real challenger as the last event May 26th. That challenge is Kyoto GP Long 60 laps (almost a 2h event) with the three classes we have now, GTR - FOX - XFR/UFR.

I'll announce this tomorrow what track to use.

The sign up will be opened two weeks before the event May12th.

Your suggestion, so make sure when you do go ahead with your decision that its the right one....
This is a bit like BOTT skipping the second to last round in the season, or OWRL. Hmmm
Without doubt, the descision is going to be the RIGHT one! ...
Oki ... after some listening around we decide to run this round 6 as the last one and with the Kyoto GP Long track and 60 laps.
