Planning to upgrade from MSFFB wheel
I have no any problems with LFS and my MS wheel, also I can't find anything to improve with my wheel when playing LFS.

Problem is that titles based to ISI engine are not working too well with MS wheel, pedal range is less than 50% from what it is in LFS, Force Feedback is coming and going by itself and all other annoyances.

Now what I'm looking is wheel that would be performing at least same level as MS wheel is in LFS and also would be working 100% in ISI engine based titles.

First I must ask that is it even possible?

Secondly would it be possible money limits within 100-300euros?

Logitech Driving force pro is very popular, but I have read that it has same force problems as MS wheel so it is out of question.

Then we have Momo Racing, I don't know much from it, but calibration issues are one problem that I have heard it has.

Hmm, then what, some Ferrari wheel had very good and smooth force feedback, but maybe it has bad pedals, good pedals are essential for me as I'm RWD driver, I turn car with throttle...

It would be good that wheel would be available in EU area, what ever wheel it would be in question, taxes from overseas are just ridiglious.

Also would be nice that wheel would not be very old design, many seem to be over 3 years old design and computers have come long way since.

What would be your suggestions?

Oh, sorry about my english, some words I'm still learning

What do you mean with "same force problems"? DFP and MS Wheel have different manufacturers. And yes, it has problems (currently a wheel without problems is an impossible equation) but probably not the same as MS Wheel.

Currently there are only two choices. DFP and MOMO Racing ("the black MOMO"). DFP has 900 degree rotation, it's quite small (shifter pads are small too) and it's not officially PC supported (because it is designed for PS2) but it still works well with PC. It also has better metal pots on pedals. MOMO Racing is a good choice too, I have it too. I think DFP and MOMO Racing both have the same problems with the mis-calibrations etc. but we just have to live with that.

The third option would be MOMO Force ("the red MOMO"). It's old but still considered the best racing wheel ever made. Pedals are great and wheel is made of leather. The only problem is that it's not manufactured anymore.

What I mean by "same force feedback problems" is FF loss/weirdness when hitting curb, FF changing when changing session at ISI engine based titles.

FF can go off, reversed, strong weak, anything between full and no effects, sometimes it just starts to pull left or right, only imagination seems to be limit.

With LFS there is nothing like that, I would like to have wheel that works same way with ISI engine based titles like this MSFF wheel works with LFS, new wheel should also work with LFS same manner as my current MSFF or better, am I asking too much here?

I understand that with new wheel I would be just changing problems to another kind, maybe even would get problems with LFS?

Very frustrating that there is no product that would work, maybe I just should get wheel without FF?
Maybe not that yet, lol.
I used a MS Sidewinder (Non FF) for the last 2 years, this month I brought a DFP, and love it, but not the pedals. The throttle doesn't feel springy enough and the pedals started cutting out. So I hooked my sidewinder back up to use the pedals, with my DFP wheel. Works well in every game I've tested so far, and for me its a very pleasing combo, because the MS pedals are really nice units.

So maybe you could do the same thing..maybe even find a DFP where someone has broken pedals?

I would need new pedals for example to GTR, my pedals start to affect to game after I press them 60-70% in LFS it is maybe first 2%, I think that it is not setting issue as I have changed everything that I could find.
That makes these MSFF pedals unusable in there.

Maybe I should buy one wheel for ISI games and use this wheel for Simulations like LFS?

So I got DFP, in LFS force feedback wen't from great to terrible, after hour tweaking it is better, but still far from what it was with MSFF.

Wheel is more precise and so, but I really have lot to do with FF settings, sometimes in LFS there is no curbs effect when I drive over curbs, sometimes I can't feel weight transfer, suspension centering wheel is not there, so lot to do. Hopefully I get it to work properly someday.
Make sure you setup the wheel's force feedback effects correctly in the control panel or the wingman software. You need to disable some of the "canned" effects. Also, you may not feel force feedback over curbs if the curbs aren't actually affecting the wheels/tires. LFS only simulates the actual forces acting on the wheels. It doesn't put in other "fake" effects like the ISI sims do.

With MSFF wheel I can feel curbs ok, but with DFP only if I'm turning and outside wheels are over curb. There is no any effect if I drive over curbs with inside wheels only.
Overall FF effects are at 40% all others are at 0%, those seem not to have any changes to LFS behaviour, exept centering spring that I keep of course at 0%. Oh yes, this overall FF effects is defining how strong forces are.

Only in GTR and GT Legends there has been decent FF effects so far, even those are not as good as with MSFF wheel, however with DFP force feedback is not going crazy after hitting curbs.

Forces are bit better if I put them very strong, but I don't use strong force never. In LFS I have force level set to around 20%.

I'm not so sure anymore if this is setup issue at all, maybe MSFF just has better force feedback in LFS?
