How much FPS can I get with the following configuration?

- Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core
- GIGABYTE 8I865GME-775 motherboard
- ATI Radeon 9600 XT
- 512 RAM ( I'll buy 512mb more in a few weeks)

and i get 40-120 fps (1-20 players).
max quality settings, 4x AA 8x AF.

the problem with this setup is the slow p4 cpu which afaik struggles quite a lot with lfs ... the graphics card isnt anything special but as long as you keep resolutions and post processing within reasonable levels it should be able to cope

the problem with your CPU is LFS doesn't support multicore processors, so you don't get any benefit from the 2nd processor. but it is still more than powerful enough for LFS. the limiting factor in your box is the 9600XT. Not a bad card, just old. Its actually the same card my dad and a friend have in their computers, and they get 40-80fps in LFS depending on track and number of cars.

you are really wrong.IF he would pare C2D or AMD X2 processor with that graphic card he would have much more FPS.

D805 fall even behind single core A64 3000+(1.8Ghz) in LFS.
In other games usually too around 10-20 percent.

D805 has also bloody power consumation.

BTW LFS cant use dual core CPUs so they work like single core CPU in LFS.No gain from 2nd core.

Now I have an Intel Celeron 2.4Ghz with Asus P4S-X motherboard, and I have terribly low FPS.(8-35) I hope I'll have more and more with the new things ( 40-100 I guess ), and I can enjoy races on famous servers with many drivers racing on them

It could drop to around 25FPS behind big field(20+) at the start.With the D805
During the race 40-100 shouldnt be problem.

Well Celeron from P4 is just office CPU not for gaming.Pretty well known.

Anyone else, who uses this kind of CPU, or his/her friend..etc. uses it?
The parts arrive next week
