ROFL! wtf happened there????
I think someone for a "joke" fitted some kind of exploding wheel nuts, like they use in stunts.

ah that explains it aiight lol! good find
Hmm, what I'm wondering is, where did the driver think his car was going to roll too, that he needed to set the handbrake before getting out? LOL
He pulled the handbrake trying to drift I bet, but I guess he wasn't smart enough to figure out he has a locking handbrake.

Always tighten wheel nuts in a star pattern and use equal pressure on all of them. I guess that's proof of why my dad double checks the pressure when I rotate my tires.

It almost looks like it ripped off the bolts too, what a scary situation (and expensive nonetheless).

He most likely tightened the wheelnuts way too much and the higher grip from those semi-slick tires then ripped them apart...

the rotars for the brakes where the nuts should be like slightly damaged but the crappy video wont lemme check it right , anyways when ever your stcvk some good wheels on spend 20/40 £ on a new set of forged nuts so that dont happen :P
Much as I feel sorry for the guy that was absolutely hilarious.
i understand that they may be over tightened etc. but ALL 4 wheels came off...
Probably didn't use a torque wrench, it is much easier than you think to overtighten those things.

But I have to be honest, I didn't think it was possible to lose every wheel like that that fast.
I think I know what happened. He forgot his torque wrench, so he toarked his lugs till they broke then backed off a quarter turn.

It's a popular method.
looks like to me the lug nuts gave up from the studs, he likely used the wrong size lug nuts (threads).

EDIT ... or with some wheels you need a lug nut with a sleeve that fits in the lug hole, Using a nut with no sleeve won't grab enough thread.
