Hi all and thanks in advance for any help offered.

Ive been offline for a while and wanted to try the new x version.
I am currently using version U with a microsoft sidewinder usb wheel.
i tried to connect to server and update through my current version but was unable to connect to a master server at all. After tinkering with firewalls routers etc, finaly testing it with a direct connection from the modem. I finally decided to download the full version of X and start again. After installing i could connect to servers as usual, but when i joined a game my steering wheel was out of line and no matter what i couldnt center it. I checked control panel to fond the wheel inside windows was calobrated perfectly.
I have checked forums as much as i can at this late hour and hope somebody as come across this problem before or can remeber a thread about it and can offer some swift advice as im aching for a game

Launch LFS and goto Options>Controls.

Click on the "Wheel/JS" button then on the "Axes/FF" buttton.
Make sure the "Calibration Lock" option is set to "NO" and then click on "Recalibrate Axes".

Then steer your wheel from end to end and fully press and release the pedals.

Probably that should fix the problem.
