Just a quickie, but does anybody remember the 6-wheel Tyrell F1 car?
I was having a discussion about it today, and we were wondering if it ever actually won a GP, or even if it made it to a podium place.

Anybody know for sure?

Won Sweden in '76 with Jody Scheckter driving.

It still races too! In the historic f1 series thingy. Not the best pic but this was from last weekend at the 'new' Ring.

it is a fantastic idea though, just shows how some F1 engineers think so far out of the box that the box is a dot to them.

Aaaah, the P-34. What an incredible Car. I saw one live racing at the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nurburgring a few Years Back. It looks really stunning and the DFV Sound is really nice.

that video has quite a bit of not seen before p34 onboard footage, you see the suspension and driver inputs quite well too.
