OK, so the landlord of my local asked a quiz question last week: In the '70s, which sponsor of an F1 team was famously photographed in the pits with a flat tyre. I got it right (wahey!) but asked him if he knew which team it was. He was convinced it was Brabham, and has decided he'll furnish me with 10 pints if I can prove it was Surtees.

So fly, my pretties! Find me images which provide irrefutable proof! Do it for the love of free beer!

The only one I've found so far is this sticker which is pretty good, but it would be nice to back it up with more in case he's feeling argumentative. I'm going in there tonight, so Google like the wind!

Probably not. He's going to want the words "Surtees" and "Durex" both visible, and from what I've seen the name "Surtees" never appeared on the TS19 while it was sponsored by Durex. Or at least not big enough to be visible in the photos.

Yeah I saw a couple of pictures of Alan Jones in it, but because there's no Surtees branding on the car they're probably not going to be much use by themselves. I'm taking my Surtees sticker, your model TS19s, the Top Trumps card and a few photos of the car just for good measure.
