is there a dds plugin for macintosh version of photoshop? its a pain to convert on my PC and more to mac.

There are other search engines out there like Yahoo, AskJeeves, MSN/Sympatico, Lycos etc.

By the looks of it, I think that it is windows only.

Maya6 supports DDS and is available in a Mac version. I know that's not great news, but it may mean that DDS is possible on a Mac platform.

the mounting keeps failing. its probibly for mac OS 10.4 which I don't have.

EDIT: found a version of my OS. it works. shame its only a demo. my computer has graphic converter but it doesn't open DDSs.
