The online racing simulator
So I'm looking for some one to film me drifting, I'm not good with the camera :(
Ok.... I got all the proper programs, I have the full version on fraps, bought and paid for, Sony Vegas Studio 8, but I lack the skills to capture footage while in Shift +U. I've been trying and trying but I cant get it, I know I can give AWESOME footage of DRIFTING. Ask around the drifting Servers, both demo and s2 servers and I'm sure people will tell you about me. My favorite tracks are Blackwood REV, South City Sprint 2 Normal, and a few others, but I cant remember the names. I really want to get a video of my drifting but like I said I suck at controling the cam.

If anyone will do this for me, I'd be happy.

Let me know if you'll except this odd request.

Thanks-Mike
to give you the footage? that could be (WILL BE) Gigabytes of data

Nooooo.....I dont want someone to give me the footage, I think I explained it pretty well, if not let me know because I said I'm looking for some one to take footage of me because I suck at the camera mode and wouldnt be able to make a good Video.

ok, few words extra "to give you footage of YOU drifting (that's what I meant)"
Well dude unless we have the SAME exact programs no1 will be able to do the Shift+U mode even saving a replay will not save the camera angles in Shift+U mode.
So I'm not sure why everyone is having a hard time understanding my post. I want someone to edit a movie using my replays.....I should've stated that insted of wasting my time putting useless words together.
because you didnt say "make me a movie from my replays" silly
I for once thought you wanted somebody to send you raw avi files so you can edit them

HaHaHa.....I'm having problems editing them myself, I need to work on the camera views, I got that Flip Cam or what ever you call it, it seems to work out pretty good, I must conqure the CAMERA

I saw one of your videos and must say, very impressive....Mind helping me out with the camera?? I'd apperciate it

just imagine youre playing a 3d shooter game, and try to keep the sight on the target...you also can add the view smoothing, so the cam wouldnt be shaky

Yea, I've been testing out my camera skills and I think I'll try it on my own, I just need to find some more programs to convert and compress the video when I'm done. Shouldnt you record in 15fps and set the speed at 0.005 or something so the video comes out alot smoother?

you can try that - set the limiter to 15 fps, put the replay speed to 0.5, and record... and then in vegas (if you want to avoid Virtual Dub) right click on every frame you insert, and add the Velocity modificator, after that - put it to 200%. and in the video settings before rendering - put it into 30 FPS
also you can film with 20 FPS, and render with 40...
good for slow motion

I'll give it a try, my only problem is I dont want the video to come out all distorted and possibly cubed. I've seen some of them floating around the net.

well then if you have a good enough video card - go to desktop properties - advanced - your video card settings, and then turn on the antisotopic filtering, and antialiasing (something like that)
it will smoothen the picture out...
