Just use the contrast on your monitor

Delete the data/dds folder in your LFS directory. The files in there control transparency.

What the heck? I hope your not being serious.

Seing as no-one has been kind enough to give you a proper answer, go here http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=20099 and download the files. once you have them, click copy, and then go into LFS>Data>DDS and paste the files into there. Then go into the game and they should be there. I hope this helped
