Probably everybody remember nfs porsche (imo the best nfs). In this game we can stick at car number plate. That solution (in lfs) allowed to do restrict quantity skins (for example team skins pack) and stand out in cars widhout skins. That option devs can fix at the car colours options (in "garage"). In extra option that should have regulation (axis/pivot) as mirror in game option (mirror offset lateral/vertical). So that no cover important element's of skin.

Guys, I think he was talking about a dynamic Number plate, not the license plate.

I think this is an interesting idea, but not worth the coding time. I'm on the fence about this idea.
