I wondered the same thing before, but if you really think about it, there's too much stuff going on in the replay to be able to just convert it to a video file; switching views, viewing different drivers, etc.
yea you just need to film it yourself using shift+u or replay cams etc. fraps isnt the only thing out there so just look and ask around for other programs

& another I just recorded my first clip & its as jerky as hell. I am recording on Fullscreen @ 1680x1050
should i try a lesser res?
I just tried 1280x1024 & its still jerky when i move the camera. Is this because I have'nt put it through v-dub yet?
Have you slowed the replay down to a half or quarter speed before you record it? If not then you should do that first. To make the camera glide easier change the "view smoothing" option. Increase it to make it smoother, but less responsive. Keep testing, recording and then checking it out at full speed in your video editor to see what works to you.
