I remember when the steering aid was still there. I do fully understand the developmentteams focus on simulation.
But every now and then even simulation gets boring.

Thats why I remember how fun it was to drift with the steering aid.
You could go insane with and throw the car anywhere you`d like,
but it didnt feel too unrealistic either. And with the lfstweak and minimekanik one could build almost any monster one would like and play around with it as you wish. I think the team should make a big mod to the whole LFS series ala a sandbox mod. Where you could do almost anything you would like. As ive seen throughout the forums, people enjoy making insane rides and gives the user a more creative experience as well and test out physics. So, please, devs. Sit down and talk this one over, I think the community would thank you for such a mod.



And at last. Im wondering if anyone could help me retrieving a version of LFS where the steering aid isnt excluded and finding functionalt LFStweak and minimekanik versions? It would be greatly appreciated as I actually had a great deal of fun with that a few years back, and it would bring back some fun memories for me. For any help, thanks!

by steering aid, you mean "keyboard - stabilised"?, it's still there

Old versions of S1 had a "majic countersteer" so KB drivers could chuck it into anything, and it would automatically countersteer perfectly.

Thats correct. I got my hands on the 0.3E version and the correct lfstweak, now I just need minimecanik now and possibly an unlocker.

Haha, it was a few years ago indeed. ^^ People dont even remember or know. Well, im having alot of fun and you people should try it and just play around.

If anobody know where I could get minimecanik and or an unlocker for the old s1 version i have, say the word. As im pretty hot for getting it running like i use to. ^^ Preferably for the S1 D or E version.

Contact the devs directly. Tell them who you are and your address etc (be prepared to send proof if required) and they will help you find your licenced account, no problem.

Offical forum. Just try using your brain before asking about game cracks, it's pretty obvious that it's probably not a good idea, when you take 2 seconds to think about it
