Help me setup the FOX
Well I just got S2 as some of you may know by now (if not, check my thread in the general LFS area) and I've become quite fond of the FOX, tis a beast when unleashed. I've been racing it on the Kyoto circuits, and I'm blown away, it's just soo much fun (thanks to the sound packs for making it sound better) Any general tips about what to do with the given setup? (Race_S) to make it a little 'softer' and forgiving, as I'm just starting to use it, and need to get used to the car before I can focus on setting it up for speed.

You haven't tried any of the other cars yet, have you? The FOX is one of the tamest cars in LFS.

Try some of these instead?

Edit: Oh god damn it I'm too slow!
Ohhh, sweet, gentlefoot's site...been meaning to check that out, thanks for reminding me, cheers. And yes I've been playing with other cars in LFS, that damn hatchback with slicks thats high on vtec is whack, it can't even hook up down low. I'm still favouring the XRT/RB4/FXO combo, or the XRR/FOX/FZR slicked cars.

Glad you like the site. If you like the FOX you might enjoy the FO8 especially if you have a wheel and peddles. It's great fun around the big tracks like Kyoto GP. There's a set and a trackguide for it at gentlefoot.com.

There is also a trackguide for the FOX around FE Club and the sets I used to make the guides are available on the sets page.

Maybe we'll see you in the GFC sometime.
Nahhh I use keyboard and mouse, the BF1 and FO8 are just too twitchy for me, I even have problems with the FZR. I noticed after driving around Westhill for a while, the FOX is REALLY easy to correct, if the back end slips out you can easily counter-steer it, or drift the rest of the corner practicly, don't think thats supposed to happen
