About ASR TV:
ASR TV is an attempt to recreate the professionalism and unique presentation of Becky Rose's STCC broadcasts in a live, streaming format. Created by ZODhog and Seldon, two members of the Hungarian Advanced Sim Racing team (ASR), and his colleague, it offers streaming coverage of several LFS leagues, including the Battle of the Teams (BOTT), liveforspeed.hu events, and now the International GT Championship (IGTC). The broadcasts are run off of a single PC.
Currently, weekday events are broadcast without commentary, but weekend events (particularly those for liveforspeed.hu) are manned by ZODhog and Seldon. Guest commentators over the BOTT season have included Mercury Racing's Ray Mooney (Bawbag) and Inferno's Marius Golombeck (bash0r). For IGTC the commentating will be done by Darin Gangi (DarinSRT) of Sim racing Tonight (SRT)
The current ASR TV broadcasts are only a start, a sort of test for what the developers hope for it to become. They are in constant development in order to improve the broadcasts by making them more compatible with various platforms and increasing their video quality, audio quality, and streaming power. Together with IGTC, broadcasts should improve to reach the desired quality which saw the creation of ASR TV.
