is there such a little mod around that can switch that so i can see directly what time it is? also how id install it too would help

No there is no such mod. You could, however, replace the FPS display with a digital clock. You'll find the setting "Show time instead of FPS" in options>misc.

Edit: Whatever the option is set to, you can temporarily toggle it by holding ctrl+shift.

Or buy a digital clock and put it next to your PC
