why can't we have html on lfsforum....its so much better because you can actually just see the picture straight on instead of clicked the link to imageshack....etc. etc.

You don't need HTML code on forums to have those features; they are build into the board. Certain features are/may be disabled, though, intentionally.

AFAIK [IMG] tags do work on this forum, though.

Allowing any old HTML input is more difficult to sanitize, hence why it's generally not a provided feature. BBCode is also "easier" to use.

Depending on your settings in the user control panel, you should beable to see images in posts.

no i dont see images in the posts....i have to click on the link and then only i get it....

User CP (top left of the webpage) > Edit Options (left hand side menu).
Scroll down to "Thread Display Options" and tick "Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)"
Scroll down and click save.

You should now get images displayed.
