I dont think that part can be modified, the only part what is modifiable there is the lights, I think I may be wrong. But everyone knows the lights can be change well I think they do lol
Okay. Thank you for quick answering.. This part would be good in black with black lights.. Or some carbon texturing on it.. Nah, nevermind can't be happened :P I still hope that someone could find out how to modifie it.
The lights are part of the XR_interior1.dds (but be aware there is a red/yellow/white overlay if it is anything else than black), the middle inbetween is part of the skin, but the plate colour can't be altered...
Squid is right, its not part of the skin. Infact, i dont think u are able to modify it as well, but i dont know tbh, i have never tryed to modify that part.
Since nobody here is able to answer the question, I will. The part you want to change is in the interior.dds file for each car. It is the black square. I don't really know exactly how it works but you can paint over it with any color you want, and in the game, some features of the car will become that color. Some of the areas include areas surrounding the lights (rear and for some cars the front as well), the window edges, the parts between the mirrors and the body, the areas where the wipers come out of, even the bumpers on some cars. Just try it out with the CMX viewer, paint over that black square with different colors and see what happens to the car.
