I'm into the early 3:15's now, i'm still losing time at the big guys though, T3 and the final turn.

O -- ONLY 3.15
I am still in the 3.17 terratory, although I have got a PB of : 3:16.95 or so..
what you guys think what lap times are needed to get yourself in points?
Depends, it's a long race, so even "lowly" laptimes could get a look in, I would say aim for 3:15 for a half decent race pace, although the "cream" will probably be lapping very close to the WR, bloody aliens.........
ET is among us ( im bored )
3:14.33 despite some powersliding. Tyres look ok, except for the outer edge where you can find igloos unless I drive hard.
Combo is the bomb, i feal like im driving Porsche 911 on Nordschliefe

I did some laps this evening, 3.15.7 or something so far, but i find my setup way to oversteery... erm, how long will be race?
edit: oh found it on web site: 12 laps, so tires has to last some laps
Yeah, i'm loving this combo too, excellent choice Mr. Owat
Thanks go to the random combo generator (again LOL)
lol. It has some VERY tough corners, especially the turn where you brake as you turn then have to go right then left, just before the second sector timing beam. Loving it.
N I K I is almost touching the WR...
It only means Mr. Ballast visits him next round.
Haha Spank you dirty dog
Had some practice last night, can't break the 3:14 barrier, so I am stuck languishing in 3:15 land............
yea combo is nice and im kinda fast, maybe WR is slow, lol i reckon 3:11 is possible and if someone gets time to practice that will be broken
Just noticed something Niki, it says you are from Boznia and Herzogovina but your flag is Croatian
Well you can talk, Uzbekistan? :S

Anyways thats where he lives, he is Croatian.
Maybe I'm english and I lived in Kazakhstan then went to Uzbekistan, ever thought about that?
Thats what i meant, did you bother to read what i posted about niki and his loction/nationality?

Of course I read it :S
Hehe, I was just wondering why the FZ50 sounds a bit off when I'm getting back on throttle. Then I noticed that I might have a small problem with my throttle pedal potentiometer. I did a simple test and a graph is included. The red line is what my foot was doing and the other line shows what the throttle potentiometer was doing.

The sad thing is that I may have to give up on my dream to see my pedals surviving from WW3; teh nukular world war. The wheel, MS non-FF, is going strong though

I hope it lasts and maybe I can fix it, I'm not feeling too hot about buying another pedals...

Just letting you know

And pedal work is very important for this type of cars, i feel sorry for you.

I've read some article in the past about changing potentiometers. I don't think it's too difficult. I think it would be worth investigating as they don't cost much to replace.

Assuming this problem would have less of an effect for the braking, the alternatives would be:

1. swap potentiometers between brake and accelerator, or
2. swap brake axis to right pedal, and accelerator to left pedal, then drive cross-legged
Nah, it is really no biggie. I'll probably just try to clean the pot or just drive with it until it dies. The jittering just makes the car feel a bit nervous but when I floor the throttle it stays at 100% so there is not much speed lost. Nothing to worry about, even if there ever was
