At the final round of S2 Season 9 in the Open Wheel Racing League, two familiar but new champions were crowned in Div A and Div B. In the FO8 League, IRT Papafant only had to finish in the points at Fern Bay Gold rev and he did just that. It is Papafant's first OWRL Div A championship, after winning the last two MRT Club seasons.
In Div B, the final round provided more drama. It looked like FPR Paddi and GFC Myxin could battle it out in the final race, but both drivers failed to finish the main race. Myxin's teammate nBio took full advantage by winning the sprint and finishing second in the main race. It gave GFC nBio his second OWRL Championship in one month time, after winning the first OWRL F1 season.
