It would be pretty sweet if the automatic transmission worked in the game like it does real life

lol top fuel dragsters dont even really have a gear box or a transmission :P and they are the fastest drag cars on the planet ....



and a proper auto transmission in ANY of the road cars would be slower in auto then manual


the genral rule is if a car is

300+ RWHP and or Sub 13sec 1/4 a decent setup auto is normaly quicker

i have seen execptions to this rule with a CRX delsol running 220 FWHP running 11.8's because he didnt have any issue launching the car with slicks and it was so light mind you this wasent a stock manual box either...
