First track, car and setup request
Hi guys,
I have been driving around and frankly I am lost in the jungle of options.
Could you propose me good starter options for my first days of practise?

I'd need:
-a good starter map on which to practise. (F1 or touring map would be fine, I'm not into rally like maps yet)
-a good starter car. 2 actually, a F1 and a touring one.
-according setup for both cars. Or an accessible tutorial link :P Unless you tell me to drive in standard setup.

I know I'm asking a lot, but it's hard to find your way at the very beginning.

Thanks by advance,
M

Bonjour, et bienvenue!!

Probably the best map to start on would be Blackwood (GP) It's the 'starter track' if you like. A good single seater to start in is the FBM. It's not too powerful and quite easy to drive. Another good car to start in would be either the XFG or the RB4. Both are quite easy to drive and show you the different types of car (setups below).

If you need a bit of help, press '4' to turn 'racing line' on.

Heres my BL/FBM set: FBM_Daves - BL1Q.set
Here's my BL/XFG set: XFG_BL1 Race.set

Other is attached.

Some tips with the setups:
BL/FBM Easy setup to drive quickly with - just watch with the power on the exits of corners.
BL/XFG Understeers a little bit - wait to put the power on
RB4/BL Very good setup - you can make slide just nicely without it being out of control.

Excellent, merci J@tko.
I'm gonna try your options as soon as this evening. XD
