hi im new to skinning and i wanted to put some logos on the car but when i did the background color of the logo wouldnt change. i was wondering how to change it. i use photoshop. the 1st image is what it looks like. the 2nd image is the way i want my logo to look on the car i want the backgroung to match my car. thanks in advance

magic wand the white text area then go to the menu 'select' then inverse, delete black area and change the text colour to white.

Or...

Magic Eraser Tool the black area, then right click that layer in the layers list on the right, and select Blending options. Go down to Color Overlay and change colour to whatever you want.

1. Magic Erase black area
   
2. Right click layer, select Blending options
   
3. Select Color Overlay and change to desired colour
   
4. Press OK and you will have a logo looking how you wanted it to

Everyone uses Photoshop in different ways, there is no 'best' way to do it, as everyone will call their way the 'best'.

Trial and error got me knowing what I know in Photoshop, only used a few tutorials for more complicated things.
