Cadbury's BB failure!
For thos of you thinking of changing their BB provider DON'T go for the wireless Navini technology, it's shite.

I've had mine since November and countless attempts which included hanging out the window with modem in hand failed. They are way to slow for Xbox live also, a ping of several hundreds of miliseconds to my gateway at peak times is just plain outragious.

All in all imo these isp's can never supply the speeds and services they advertise, and i've just been robbed of €30 per month for my troubles.

So here's a funny pic when it was at it's worst 'teh Cadbury antenna!'.

Wireless isp's suck imo

of course wireless is crap you would have to be an idiot to choose it over cabled technologies (provided you can get them)

...i cancled my cable bb after they messed me about, now they have my custom back with a €20 p/m for 4 meg bb deal

I would not imagine these wireless bb isp's will be around for too long as the serveic they provide is nowhere near what they advertise, i did read the small print and it did say 'up to two meg bb' , if I had of known the average was 500kb/s@~700ms ping they would never have gotten one cent out of me.
I have not been a fan of the wireless technology since in has exploded on the market. I hate wireless mice and keyboards, the frequent battery replacement and signal drop outs are just a pain in the arse. Wireless Internet is the same, its shit but companies market it like it is the next best thing and too many noobs are seduced by the advertising into going wireless.

If you want constant disconnections and poor speed, go wireless.

I hate wireless, big improvement will have to be made if i ever go wireless for anything.

Only thing that is wireless and that actually works is my tv remote and my mobile phone!!!!

sure it is handy when it actually works right which is hardly ever!
Wireless, as a term, has far too much buzz imo. Everybody wants a wireless network? Why, can you not install cables properly? I admit wireless is getting better as new standards are developed, and security is actually quite good if people know to enable it, but you can't beat a cable for large numbers of connections. I mean with wireless you've essentially got just one collision zone (the entire world). I'll be keeping my small array of Base100T switches, thanks very much.
