Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, wasn't sure where to post it.


Since Patch Y, I can't seem to change the AA or AF settings the game uses by altering the game specific settings on my graphics card.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it intentional?

I have also changed the graphics card drivers, but i'm pretty certain it's not this that is causing the problem (though I might be wrong) and I can't see any reason why a different driver should stop working in this way as it is still microsoft/windows certified. Also it's an NVidia card and in my years of experience of NVidia drivers, this isn't the kind of mistake they make with their drivers.


Card is a 8600 GT and drivers are currently 169.25 (were previously 163.69).

it's a fault of drivers. i've had same problem (169.21) and another drivers solved it. now i'm using DNA-Force_4.0.16904x32-[www.guru3d.com] and everything is fine.
you should try the newest beta drivers or some modified ones...

Strange. Ok thanks for the information, I'll look up the beta drivers.

I have the same trouble with the "game specific" settings. Using the universal settings works for me though. Hope this is resolved soon w/ nvidia drivers, Good luck.

This is a problem with drivers 169.21-169.28.
Latest leaked beta driver (not officially released, but still available for download) 171.16 fixes those AA problems.
Look in my thread in Videocards section to find driver.
