Is there a way to align a object like a logo to a path in Gimp? I know its possible in Photoshop (which I don't have)

I want to make a logo fit into the visor, and the other option don't really work

Similar to bending text, but with a logo or something. That's what I think he means.

And i wouldn't like to seach though endless Gimp Tutorial (which are mostly written for the Linux version, and by its people, therefor hard to understand for none geeks)

its easier not to use paths and just warp it using the less troublesome methods, but whatever you want
