whats the deal with this sound mod I wanted to find out more before I just download it I know this ? has probably been beat to death but whats the deal

The sound editor in LFS was made publically available, relatively recently in LFS' development, which allows people to change how the engines sound (I would like to stress that it's still not sampled, in the same manner as you would find in GTR, for example). This is one of those changed engine files, which you can load into LFS.
