Tyre temp... how its possible?

look at tyre temp...

That's typical after reentry to the atmosphere. Little known to most people, the LX4 body is actually fairly aerodynamic at specific degrees of incline, acting like a lifting body and allowing for high speed sub-orbital flight. Of course, looks like he came in with a bit of yaw to the right, exposing the left front tire to the extreme effects of atmospheric drag during the heavy reentry phase.

This only proves the limitation of the LFS physics engine. At those temperatures, the car, and everything immediately nearby SHOULD spontaneously burst into flame. I guess it's a bug that's been overlooked?
mdiez - an explanation or, even better, a replay of how you achieved re-entry would be much more useful than a screenshot.
lol thats a funny one, good to see another rc racer about, there are a few on here actually, but getting back on topic it does look weird when theyn all touch, a bit more spacing of the temps could be useful
Currently the tyre pops only if the average surface temp of the inner, middle or outer ring, or the tyre air temp reaches > 200°C. This of course allows one of 16 sections (when locking a tyre) to go up to 999°C, as for example (60°C*15 + 999°C) / 16 = 118.7°C average temp, even though it should be completely destroyed. A shortcoming that is hopefully fixed sometime in the future.
U can reproduce this "bug" whatever u wanna call it very easy...get into a RWD car...set your brake bias to 95% (front) and as much break strength as possible...then just drive and brake (basicaly lock the tyres up) and watch the temperatures of the part which was locked.
Strange.
Normally the tires explode with 200° (at least it was earlier so).
Really Strange.
Read my post and you understand why this is possible.
