Can LFS ....?
if you make a burn out .... start spinning your wheels and at the same time you are pushing the brakes...does the brake-disc start to overheeting??? im talking about the graphics..if you see it and also for the performance of the car..does your brakes take damage with this?
Nope, brake fading or any other changes in braking performance related to the brake discs isn't implemented, and no visual changes either. However, it's very likely that one day it will be (not sure about the visual aspect).
#3 - Dac
as with actual moving brake discs!
as someone said in a post (i was reading about 5 min ago)
I find LFS more interesting in driving and more real... but :P sometimes you must play GTR 2 to take your dose of visual reality :P
anyway thanx
Are we talking front or rear brakes?
both..
Well, in a burnout, the front brakes will generate no heat, as they aren't moving. The rears could generate some heat, but it would probably ruin the burnout as brakes generally have greater torque capacity that engines. With VERY gentle modulation I guess you just about get rear brakes hot, eventually.

But I doubt anyone has ever bothered.

have you played Forza 2? Those breaks glow like hot lava in the first corner
In what car? Under what conditions? Braking for the first corner isn't a burnout.

No, I haven't played Forza. Not only am I too poor to afford a 'modern' console, I probably wouldn't bother using it anyway. I'm sure Forza is great fun, and possibly the most realistic of the console driving games, but it doesn't float my boat in the slightest.
In every car, it's a joke. Breaking, burnouts, anything where the breaks are barely pressed. It's a little, um, over-the-top

Forza isn't that realistic, using a wheel feels unresponsive and the cars are far too well behaved. It is fun though.

That's because the wheel feels like your driving a Cozy Car
in lfs, your breaks dont need heating There perfect temp from as soon as u leave the garage. But in real life a good way to generate brake heat is to just run a lap with the brakes slightly on
It would be good if your brake pads fall off lol

I cant really see that happening in real life, unless the car is VERY poorly maintained. So -1 to that stupid idea
