Incidentally Alex, before I forget. Two pics of your father. He looked like he was trying, but I could watch for long as I had my own stuff to sort out.
Cheers Tristan really nice pics, hope your brother gets a media pass
This must have been the most spectacular 10mph crash of all time, so you hit a rock then got thrown into a sign and nearly died? It all seems rather ridiculous to me would you actually have been any better off if the sign had met the regulations?
Occasionally silly things happen to all of us but this whole mentality of there has to be someone at fault and suing for the sake of it is really silly and when you can sue the council for falling off your bike or better still postmen refusing to deliver post to streets with wobbly pavement slabs on grounds of health and safety is just silly.
As for my comments on fitness and racing it seems you are probably just being a bit pathetic and exaggerating these G forces earlier on but if you seriously felt uncomfortable as a passenger on a bike I suggest you are not physically fit enough to be in any high risk high G force situation. Of course you could just be bullshitting about your high G experiences and your horrendous bicycle accident...
No offense but you wouldn't like to be on the back on my uncles bike with him riding, he's a nutter on it, pops wheelies when your not going to realise, just try's to shit you up.
Off I would stop saying how stupid my accident is now because it is seriously ****ing me off. That night I could of died or become very disabled but I was lucky, if something doesn't meet the requirments/rules it's illegal, like if you get caught with an illegal number plate or race can on your motorbike you have to either show the police within the next 28 days you have changed it or you get a fine or if they are mupits they will fine you there and then, so really same goes.
So you can stop going on about my accident now, actually I will upload some, so you can see how bad I was, then maybe you'll realise just how serious it was.
Edit: If I am bullshitting about my bike accident, here are a list of injuries I recieved:
Fractured skull, with one fracture being 5mm
Eye dislogged 4mm
Broken Signus
Torn Membrain
Fractured pelvis
Swelling on the brain
Bleeding on the brain
So if I am bullshitting thats some list to make up isn't it
Now I have 10 screws in my head keeping a metal plate in what goes across my forehead and a big scare going from one ear to the other ear.
I will upload pictures when my dad gets home as he has them on his phone.
I'm more interested in how a not perfectly rounded sign managed to fracture your skull and pelvis? Anyway sorry to hear you hurt yourself a bit, wish you luck on your recovery and hope you don't get paid for falling off your bike
I hit the posts holding the signs up, if I hit the actual sign the edge most likely would of killed me, if we get the council to realise they will most likely make sure all the signs in Plymouth will be safer for pedestrians. But, I know for one thing I am going to wear a helmet for now on.
'hurt yourself a bit' If you class that as hurting yourself a bit what do you class as hurting yourself a lot.
Oh I missed out one thing from my injuries, I had CSF leakage what could of gave me meningitis. luckily the surjeon who done my operation was one of the best pedostritions in the country as he used to work in the childrens hospital in London, the one what always has programs about on telly I think its the Royal Childrens Hospital and only the best of the best work there but he now works at Frenchay hospital in Bristol. I have forgot his name now, so anyone who don't believe me as soon as I remember his name I will post it, I should have the pictures uploaded by tonight.
I raced Kart since i am 6 years old. Won two town championships, almost got to the german championships. Now i race Auto-Slalom. In a German Support series called "Youngster Slalom Cup". They provide three cars, all the same (Mazda 2) and you can race for about 300€ a season
Why dig a deeper hole, Sam? TBH I am reading what you are typing and my opinion of you is that of a liar or somebody that really does over exaggerate things. I would like to know what 50cc has any chance keeping up to a 85cc on a motocross track. 85's are the real pocket rocket's. So what bike was you riding, and what type of 85's were they?
As for sueing the council, doesn't suprise me with the society we live in today, greed is what drives the majority now .
It's how you ride, plus it was tuned a bit, I had a TM50, not people know of them but if you have a tuned one thay can't half move. I did use to be a very quick rider when racing plus a lot of the people in the 85 class couldn't ride a bike they seemed to like going into the back of others, I think thats why I came 8th once. I know of a 50cc speedfight what can keep up with a DT125 upto 50mph and then the DT leaves it.
So you stopped racing because there was no competition but your best result was 8th place? Do I detect a bit of bullshit? ; )
I assume auto slalom is like our autotests, very cheap motorsport that's very hard on transmissions but not a lot else, you could probably run a season for less than that in your own car but doing autotests in your daily driver can be a bit risky so the idea of doing autotesting in a car that you don't have to worry about getting stranded or have to trail a car is very tempting
Thats all they make now, I am 15 now, I started racing at the age of 5, 10yrs ago, they did make a 50cc, I couldn't race for a year when I was 7 because someone broke into our garage and took the bike, the police found it after 2 months of it being stolen and kept it for nearly a year then gave it back to us. So they made on back then but don't now
I was in the 50cc class, but a lot of the time the other 50cc's either had a engine problem, they didn't bring the bike or they did bring the bike just didn't want to race. So, because I had my bike and I wanted to race they used to put me up a class so I could still race, this was only when there was no other 50cc's for me to race. But because it wasn't my class and I didn't really get to race in my class so I gave it up. I wasn't old enough to race a 85cc, so whats the point racing a 50cc bike in a 85cc class, yes I came 8th in the 85cc class, thats only because others was finding it hard to keep control of their bikes as the track was wet or they was going up the back of each other, that race I had my rear mud guard taken off because someone hit me up the back. I had some competition in the 85cc class because my bike could out run some of them through corners but not on a straight, so that ment I could only overtake in the corners. I always came 1st in the 50cc class because there wasn't any competition the only bike there what was nearly as fast as mine was a KTM but after about 2 laps I was to far in front for them to catch me, some of the 50's was so slow me and the lad on the KTM use to lap them.
I gave up the sport because of the lack of competition in my class, I will upload one of the plates to prove that I did do motorcross, I will have it uploaded within a few minutes.
I am either thinking of when I am older either racing a single seater or going back to motorcross.
Maybe because we don't have the extra money to spend? Also as far as I'm aware a Hayabusa has roughly the same bhp... From what I've read there quoted to have around 175/180bhp...
We still need to get a fuel tank, 3 tyres and a LSD to get the car running.
Our budget is a tight one, hence why the car isn't finished with the season starting soon.
So your going to sue because a sign was probably a few mm's out of position Last year at work I fell when a broken barrier had been left on the circuit where it shouldn't have. I landed on my chin in the middle of the circuit. Thankfully my work mate legged it to me as soon as he saw it happen and managed to get the attention of a customer on the track. Had he not I'd have been hit by a 200+kg kart doing 25mph.
Now technically I could have sued because of the fact the barrier was dangerous and should not have been there. I'm left with a big scar on my chin to go along with all the others.
End of the day accidents happen, I blame myself as much as I'd blame my work place for not moving the barrier. My manager at work got nailed by a kart flat out, has a scar all the way along his arm, 2 scars on his face and is blind in one eye after it. He never sued either.
It's sad the way society is going, everybody seems to want to sue you for anything and everything. Got a case going on at work, I told the guy off for being a twat and diving down the inside of people. He ended up breaking his kart and going through the barriers, he is now trying to sue because no one asked if he was okay... before the kart came to a rest he jumped out it .
If the rock was big enough to unsettle your push bike at 10-15mph might I suggest you get your eyes tested? Never have I fallen off my push bike by hitting a stone, sure I've had a few moments but generally people tend to avoid big stones...
And your seriously trying to claim to have been a great motocross rider yet you fell off a push bike doing 10-15mph
