Shifter on the left, rear brake on the right (unless it's a vintage Brit bike ). In general, you don't need to use much rear brake on a race bike anyway, at least in straightline braking. It can be useful mid-corner for minor line changes, though. Body control and feel from the pegs are bigger issues.
Good race, it was good to see Rossi back at the front where he should be, Dani did really well to keep up on a slower bike too. Amazing ride by Lorenzo, I guess he was safe enough to ride.
