I hope someone can help, ! since 2 days i have tryed in vain to join any server on hitting go button and after downloading skins, textures, etc. i get "waiting for guest info" then a delay, then lost connection guest info not received ??

Hence i cannot join ANY server ! HELP urgently needed and very much appreciated.

try it again and again (with the same server)
immer nochmalig und hintereinander versuchen, dann sollts klappen.

Make sure your hardware (router) and/or software firewalls allow LFS to access TCP ports 29339 and 63392. Afaik you only need to allow outbound traffic on these ports unless you are hosting a server yourself. Alternatively disable your router/software firewalls altogether and then try to connect. If you do this, remember to switch them back on ;p

try all this still no luck

Had this problem for a long time now updates dont fix it

i´m from germany and got the same problem, but here is my solution. First i will say, i had tested all, 3 kinds of routers, without firewall and defender, exposted host etc. Nothing had changed this problem. Then I had installed LFSs on my working PC with XP home, connected with the same router (Fritzbox 7270) and its running fine!! I can connect to all Servers in Router-Mode. Trying two minutes later with my gaming PC on Vista 64bit, i bacame the error message.

then i got it!! I have an onboard lan card on an asus board. A few minutes ago i had installed a second lancard from logilink, now its running without an error.
Don´t know why, but ists running I´m very happy now.
