Do you mean that you've payed however much it is for hires skin downloads?

If so, hires skin downloads means that LFS will download other people's skins as 1024*1024 instead of 512*512. Although you shouldn't use the skins that it downloads unless you have permission from whoever made it/them.

If you go into the pits screen by pressing shift - p, then press the 'colours' button. Make sure you don't select a default skin, because you can't change the colours on the defaults.

Use the sliders for 'wheel colour' to get the colour you want
