Disconnection
Disconnection will be considered an automatic DNF. We know that Disconnections are not the driver's fault and I myself have lost many races in the past purely through disconnections, however, we're going to do it the STCC way because we are understaffed and I alone cannot calculate the laps back then change the results generated accordingly then recalculate the points. A few post race SRC admins abruptly left so I'm left alone doing all the post race stuff (results, and possibly the broadcast video). We also have a dedicated server and we have not experienced any real problems with disconnections even with full fields so we are expecting a smooth race this sunday. But just think of DCs as Engine failures

If there's an actual problem with the server, then the race will be red flagged and postpone on a later date.

We've tested all the storm servers and they are quite resilient, the H2H league has had no problems there and I dont expect to have problems this sunday (we even tested it out with large fields). So hopefully all will go well
Disconnection = engine broke XD
That sucks for me specially When theres lots of people on the grid I tend to lose connection.
Reboot your router or reconnect to your ISP before the race. That seems to help some people who have frequent disconnects. Turn off everything that uses the net and you should be fine.

You tend to lose connection If someone breathes wrong

It usually depends on the server for me certain servers just dont work for me :P
Actually AJ, it only occurs when Britney Spears is admitted/released from rehab. Give it time T...she'll eventually OD...then you're computer will self-destruct.

Seriously though - I find it funny how T has a killer connection, then all of a sudden he disappears and you see;

"oRPo Mista Tea N crumpets disconnected"

Hope your brother quits downloading.
Yeh, it's really the weirdest connection ever. It goes from 900 kbps when I'm downloading and drops to like 400 within a second and goes back up like 3 mins later to 900 then goes to like 30 for another 5 mins. Really not consistent. And then I'm racing, no apparent lag AT ALL sometimes and BOOM lose connection.

Heh whatever, this week I'm at the computer that usually has a more stable connection so let's just wait and see how it goes.

900 kb/s..? Is that a lot? I have 5 mb/s.... Can you not upgrade your connection or something?
