I think all people who are overly aggressive in the opening laps should be penalized. Like 3 or 4 wide on lap 1 shouldn't be tolerated.

I think it wouldnt be a good idea.. just takes the pressure and fun out of the beginning of the race.

Only reason I voted no is because they should get a warning first, if their move made a wreck, then I could see a penalty, but if a clean 3 or 4 wide move is made (hoping it never comes to that) then I wouldn't want to see a penalty thrown.

We saw yesterday what can happen at the start. My car is really loose for the first few laps so I will gladly loose position taking the high line and letting everybody go. But that's me. When I did try to race for position, my car would break loose coming off the kink.

A warning, yes but I think the majority of the people will be fine since most of them I raced with last night were quite good at the beginning. If you practiced with them, you know the line they take at the beginning.

I voted yes but too an extent...

as an example, if there are abnormally slow cars in front of me, then I will take them on the outside...but if they're only 5 mph slower then I'll bump em and get em going...

some pepole however have the urge to drive that last corner in full throttle first lap on the low line to try to pick up spots and cause a wreck.

If someone does THAT on the first lap....it's just racing but...jeez, common sense.
