micro custom build advice
Hi guys/gals, i need some advice on my project The plain fact is I have no idea what mobo's go best with what cpu's and what setup best serves what GFX cards suited purely for gaming.

I'm an avid lover of notebooks only because of the size, desktops just mean horrid masses of entangled wires encapsulating a big stationary humming smelly mess anyway, I'm looking for a mobo/gfx card setup that would fit into a case roughly the size of a standard yellow pages phone book, and would be greatfull for some advice or tips as I plan to build the case from stainless steel with plexiglass on one side.

I have no idea yet how I'm going to integrate a cooling system into a case this small.

Is a Shuttle case too big? If so, Mini-ITX is your answer, but it ain't cheap and it ain't fast.
a way to do it (the cooling I mean) is to make a 120mm hole in the top, and 2 80mm (or 120 if the height of it allows) on the sides. Then mount fans on the OUTSIDE of it, with the sidefans blowing IN and the top fan blowing OUT.
With some care and imagination it can actually look good - but its a good way to cool it in such a small system.
