Just wanted to make a thread here regarding Nadals awesome win in the Wimbledon final today. The match against Federer is the best tennis match i have ever seen, and i think a lot of other tennis fans agree! The excitment was almost unberable, it's one of the greatest sportsrelated experiences i have ever had

The next big thing now is the Olympics, on hard court. Will be very exciting!

It was an unbelievable match, but I wanted Federer to win, purely because he'd be the first person to win 6 on the trot since the 1800's.

yes y agree a lot with you...i think that is the best final Federer VS. Nadal i have ever seen in my life.....he deserve that champ....y think that its the most important champ that nadal wins because y never see Nadal in other ocations with that kind of hungry of victory....

I'm not a Tennis fan by any stretch of the imagination, in fact the Wimbledon Final is the only game i ever watch. But Nadal was incredible. It would have been nice to see Federer break Borgs record, but Nadal was simply too good for him on the day and utterly deserved to win.

Congrats on the spoiler in the thread title :P Not that I care, I watched it before I saw the thread, but now I'm glad I didn't check the LFS forums between the time it happened and the time I watched it.

But yeah, what a match...amazing. Certainly the best men's final I've been fortunate enough to watch. So close all the way through. They just played every point like it was the last, right from the start to the finish, and had such energy all the way through. Very impressive! I am very happy for Nadal, what a great match he played.
