iPod Sync?
So my laptop has decided to corrupt a system file.. again.. and I'm now using my gaming rig as my everyday machine. Should have done so a long time ago, but whatever. Anyways, I don't want to befoul it with iTunes and all that excessive bloat. What software do you guys use for putting music on your iPods? I'd prefer something that has a library, as all my music is sorted into folders so I don't want to have to go through each and every one to pick and choose songs, just having the list infront of me to drag and drop would be key. Also, I want something small. I don't want a bunch of other junk.

As a partially related question - do I need to install any drivers or anything? Is this possible without installing iTunes and all that other crap?

YamiPod should work fine without installing iBloatware.

I use Floola. No installation required, works on Win, Mac and Linux, supports vista, extracting songs from ipod, podcasts, download straight to ipod, localization, search for duplicates, search for lost files (finally found out where my 2 GB went). Converting automatically using ffmpeg. And a bunch of other stuff. You won't need no drivers either, just set your iPod as a hard drive and you're set to go.

It is folderbased though, but you could always use your favorite media player (like Winamp) to drag and drop files from the library.
I use Winamp...

iTunes is crap and I'm not installing it on my desktop; and it is not the only way to sync an iPod

I think I'll give Lible's suggestion a try when I get home.
