Adjustable FOV and size for virtual mirrors
I use a pretty small FOV for my driving (about 50-60)
in road cars, no problem, I can adjust the mirror position
the problem comes when I drive a single seater
which the FOV I m using wont allow me to see the mirrors at all
so I m relying on the virtual mirrors
then I regonise that there is a big difference between the FOV value of a real mirror and a virtual mirror
the virtual mirror has a much larger FOV so that everything has become so small to see
and main problem is the difficulty to figure out the distance between the car in the back
so I suggest that the virtual mirror FOV should be adjustable, neither with the main FOV or adjustable as a seperate option
that will be even better if there is a option to alter the height and width of it
for better racing quality
I agree. I also use a small FOV and am basically racing blind if I'm in an open wheel car. The virtual mirror is simply too small to see anything in it and is more distracting trying to see anything in it than it is to just not use mirrors at all.

One solution is to set the side view to an angle to see the mirrors in the open wheelers, but that gets distracting as well switching between 90 degree side look and 35 or so degree side look. Also, I don't want to be taking away my "peripheral vision" of seeing the track ahead constantly with using the mirrors with a low FOV and an angled side view.
This would be really good because we can race more clean i surpose, i would also suggest that you can see both mirrors with out moving your head, man sorry i don't know what im on about rofl ;P
