Is there a way to find out if the patch is installed and working ?And also i have installed set ups in the setup files but cant see them?Thx for your help,
Robert
When you want to install a patch, all you do is unzip the contents into your LFS folder. If it asks you do overwrite, you choose yes. Usually the LFS.exe is replaced and a few other folders and files.

And when you start up the game, you should see at the bottom what version you are running (under the LFS logo and beside the developer's names)

And when you get setups, you put them in your LFS/data/settings folder. When you load up the game, you want to select, in the garage, the correct car the setup is made for, and on the right-side you should see the setups you downloaded. Click on one, and your car will use that setup.
Sorry to jump in with a question to a question but can you tell me if I need to patch my copy of LFS if I only downloaded and unlocked my copy a few days ago?
@Bramski

Currently you can still run LFS S2 version P online, but it is best that you always stay up-to-date. The current version (Q) has a bit of important fixes and additions that make it better overall, and it is best you apply the patch.

You can read a list of changes here in this thread
