I turned on my g25 today and started driving as normal with shifter, and i went from 1st to 2nd and went to change into 3rd to find that it went back to first, i thought it was a mis shift tried again still 1st...Turns out 1st 3rd and 5th are 1st gear or button 8 and 2nd 4th and 6th are button 9 :|

Is the knob to turn it into sequential mode slightly (or fully) on? That shares up/down with 1st, 3rd, 5th/2nd, 4th, 6th. If the sequential light is on that's it. That sounds like the problem anyway

Sequential light is definetly off . I tried it in seq mode still just 1st and 2nd even like that...just button 8 and 9.

The other buttons on the shifter block all work fine...just the shifter itself :\

Have you assigned those shifts in options > controls?

Yes in the options i select 4th move the shifter into 4th position and it comes out as button 9 (2nd) same for 6th and 3rd and 5th are 1st.

So you're saying that when you are DEFINATLY in 3rd, it registers are 1st?

Sounds like a faulty shifter, double check it's plugged in propperly and the correct drivers are installed, otherwise looks like you'll have to RMA it. Logitech are pretty good, fill in thier form and you should get a new one within 2 weeks

Alright i'll stick new drivers on it and then if still nothing, i'll head on over to logitech and rant ;p

it's a wire in the shifter it is broken i've has the same problem 3 times with my G25

The issue is a small wire at the front end of the shifter.

It is a very easy fix, so if you are out of warranty then it is not really a problem.

If you need a guide on how to fix it, ask, and I will do my best to explain!
