LOL the insim on the CAD server is worse than the one that was on the noobs server, it threatens to spectate you when you're sat on the grid, spams even more pointless messages, the lap split thing takes up half the screen, it kicks you for speeding in the pits and sometimes it breaks leaving the 'please brake in time' message on the screen for the duration of the race!

Oh, and there's a third Destruction Derby server popped up: [RS] Destruction Derby, although it seems to just be taking the layouts from [CAD] server and putting them on their own.

Well, problem is that there are 3 DD servers, so not really any use for me doing anything while there are others server with admins most of the time online

I know that some people (certainly Mook) will go "WHAT" at this next part of this post, but it does seem that the [CAD] server is gradually improving.

The hideously bad insim has disappeared, the admin seems to have calmed down and isn't as strict as he previously was (although the spammed messages still remain), and he even said that TVE and his "clan" (probably meaning TVE, me and some others) were the inspiration for this new server, and that if he hadn't raced on the original [noobs] server, then the [CAD] server wouldn't exist.

So it looks like LFS Destruction Derby will still be around in a few months, and who knows; if that league I planned ever gets started, then it could be around for even longer!

It's just a damn server lol. WhoTF cares in what server you race on. Even if he got "inspirated" its still a server and not a fighting skills like kung fu. You cant get inspirated on lfs

Well, a good point there, and fun to see it's based upon what first was on the [noobs] server. I am actually glad that there are a server for the ones that likes to drives this every day. For my use I like to have the [noobs] server aviable when I feel for racing.

what about a noobs vs CAD DD?

CAD is a pile of poo!!!!!

About 20 out of 32 connections. once i finally got in the server, after every error i have ever seen happened one after the other, did not recieve track info, or, did not recieve driver info, or, did not recieve reply from all drivers, or did not recieve OK, or connect timeout (or something similar), then the red gobbledygook once i finally got in (PLY SET JOOS CAR SET ENG RES, yada yada..) then disconnected on its own.

Try again, in a queue for ages.. . . . . . Im in.

Then the accept or deny screen was stuck on the screen even though i clicked accept about 100 times.

so, shift + J then, and the word JOIN sits in the middle of the screen while all the little bars in the bottom left begin to climb up the screen (i actually got up, went in the kitchen, opened the fridge, got a beer, opened it, took a sip and walked back into where the PC is in the living room and it still hadnt put me in the garage, and the little bars were 1/4 of the way up the screen by this point)

After about a minute, im finally in the garage, and the accept deny screen is back, so i couldnt see anything. I turned out of the garage, found a car coming the other way, avoided it and got onto the grass, i musy have gone the wrong way by accident as i couldnt see. So, shift P, and the word PITS just sits there, then i was kicked f( i guess for wrong way driving)

One last go, back in, wait for ever again, JOIN on screen for ages, got going, laggy as hell, all the little bars are right up high again, then it disconnected me again so i thought f--k it. This is shit
