What gets me is that people spend £600 on a set of wheels from Halfords, £200 on "high performance" exhaust components, £500 on a paintjob, and them same again on a bodykit - And then spend £1.99 on their lights.
Apparently not, he mentioned in one of his posts that he once went to Florida when it was raining cats and dogs, the taillights just got wet. I'd call him ingenious really, I mean sure it won't last too much and it won't be so effective but to simply think about it and all of a sudden to say "Hey, I know, I will use some pantyhose to rice up my taillights!" is pretty amazing and it's something I thought that no living being could think of but it seems that once again mother nature fooled me.
Any practical use for tinting your taillights, other than wanting to look like a complete idiot?
I've seen plenty of those (sounds like pantyhose) tinted taillights on crappy Civics and even Puntos in Holland. Beats me why any self respecting car-owner would do such a thing...
Well a lot of people think that Chav's need to climb the evolutionary ladder, so surely a chav driving around with ladders is certainly a step in the right direction.
I'm actually a member of that site, as I own an Integra for auto-x. TI.net is a great resource for anything Integra related, and has saved my ass many times when I needed reliable info about something I was doing to the car.
That being said, pantyhose on your tail lights is a little much... however most of the cars on there are very tastefully done.
