recommend some good sound packs for the road card mainly please. I think the standard LFS are a little lacking.

I dont want anything over the top just nice little tweaks that improve the sound really

Also how does one use these sounds ? simply dropping it in the sounds folder?
Or do i need to stick them else where and load them with shift+a

just extract the soundpack in data/engine, should have new sounds for all the cars, nothing over the top thank gills if he ever comes back and here's the link to the skid sounds...

You could always use my realistic ones, they use absolutely no new sounds exept for the shift sound, everything else was adjusted but not changed.

I made every car sound as close to the real thing as possible, basing it off the cars they are based on.

If you look at post number 2, it has the link for the skid sounds. I shall update that and put it in post number 1. I forgot about that, thanks.
